Description: The Olympic Smart Scale Model 50 Pediatric Scale is a fully electronic Infant Scale that allows babies to be weighed sitting or lying down. With it's unique fold-down ends and great time-saving features, the Pediatric Scale quickly and safely weighs all your patients, from infants to toddlers. The Baby Scale can be securely anchored to the Roll Around Cart and operates on rechargeable batteries so that weighing can be performed even when an electrical outlet is not nearby. This easy to use Digital Scale is an investment that pays for itself in safety and time saved and is a great fit for hospitals and nurseries. The folding ends allow babies to be safely and accurately weighed either sitting or lying down. Just keep the edges folded up to weigh them sitting down or simply fold the edges down to weigh them while lying down. The folded down edges provides them with more space so that they lie comfortably while being weighed. The Table Top Smart Scale automatically calculates the baby's weight within seconds after they are placed onto the scale. Babies up to 55 lbs (25 kg) can be weighed accurately within 1 ounce. There is no need to keep track of changing weights caused by a baby's movement because the final weight calculation will lock in on the display. Automatic weight averaging allows the Infant Scale to take the child's movement into account when determining the final weight calculation. The last calculated weight is stored by the Baby Scale and can be recalled even after the Scale as been powered off. The Infant Scale automatically zeros itself before each weighing and features a zero (tare) button for when staff members want to weigh the baby with an additional item such as a toy or a blanket.
